Brette joined the firm as an Associate in August, 2005 and was elected as a partner in December 2008. She is licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Kansas state and federal courts. She graduated with honors from Washburn University School of Law in May, 2005.

Brette has been lead counsel on nearly a dozen jury trials in both Missouri and Kansas. She is involved in all phases of the litigation process. In addition to handling pre-trial motions and jury trial, Brette has taken and defended hundreds of depositions and has successfully handled numerous mediations and settlement conferences.

During law school, Brette was a member of the Washburn Trial Advocacy Team competing against law schools around the country in mock trial competitions. Her team placed third in the nation at the ATLA National Trial Advocacy Competition in 2005.
